Seeing Sickness: The Eye as a Mirror of Systemic Illness

This session explores how systemic diseases present through ocular manifestations across multiple species. Conditions will be categorized by underlying disease processes and examined through species-specific ophthalmic findings. Participants will develop a stronger understanding of how eye changes can indicate broader systemic illness and guide diagnostic decision-making.

• Recognize ocular signs/symptoms of systemic disease
• Know when to perform systemic diagnostic tests in addition to an ocular exam
