Is There Light at the End of the Tunnel? Causes of Blindness

This session reviews the visual pathway and its role in understanding the causes of blindness in veterinary patients. Participants will explore common causes of vision loss, differentiate between acute and chronic blindness, and examine situations in which perceived vision loss may be misleading. Emphasis will be placed on clinical assessment and appropriate referral decisions.
