The purpose of this talk is to emphasize common topical ocular drugs, their cost, advantages, disadvantages, and how to use and price them to maximize patient care and profits. 

• 1) To discuss the most common topical ophthalmic drugs available and whether to shelve them or source via retail pharmacies, compounding pharmacies, or over the counter.
• 2) To know what common medications can be appropriately substituted when others become unavailable.
