This session will discuss the main issues hindering or delaying a practice sale. This will include explaining location and size issues. A buyer must accept location and the size of the practice based on number of doctors. They also require adequate revenue, net cash flow or EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) and the facility. The facility must include many factors for ease of flow, adequate exam rooms and cleanliness. We will discuss the above factors sellers must achieve. Also, we will discuss the amount of EBITDA and the multiple to achieve an acceptable fair market value (FMV) to allow seller’s transition to retirement.
