Oct 18, 2025
Tahoe Clinical Theater
Surgery , Small Animal

Brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome (BOAS) is a progressive condition that can become lifethreatening. The BOAS components most often managed surgically are stenotic nares, elongated soft palate, and everted laryngeal saccules. In this session, we’ll discuss the indications for surgery, the surgical procedures themselves, and steps the clinician can take to decrease the risk of complications and to treat complications if they occur.
