This lecture will cover how to evaluate and triage cases of colic and other gastrointestinal disease in the field. Key features of the most commonly encountered conditions will be discussed including how to differentiate between them and the essentials of diagnosis using tools available in the field. Potential treatment options for the field will also be discussed.
