A patient is rushed into your practice. They’re unresponsive and they aren’t breathing! Do you know what to do next? Cardiopulmonary arrest is the ultimate emergency facing our patients. Clear knowledge on current CPR methods is important in providing patients with the best chance of survival. The 2024 RECOVER CPR guidelines (RECOVER 2.0) is an update to the evidence-based guideline initially published in 2012 with the goal of standardizing CPR best practices globally. We’ll discuss the effects of implementing this guideline into practice.
