Canine Pancreatitis: Diagnostic & Management Highlights

Oct 19, 2024
Tahoe Clinical Theater
GI

Pancreatitis represents perhaps the largest disparity between what is published and what is actually known about a disease. This continues to be a frustration for all of us - and I will do my best to share that frustration with you. And yes, we will discuss the latest attempt to go beyond "non-specific" supportive treatment options.

  • Attendees will learn what we don't know about the specific recognition, diagnosis, and treatment of pancreatitis in dogs (...cats? are you kidding me?). Attendees will also learn what experience their colleague have had (group participation) with LFA-1 inhibition as a treatment for acute pancreatitis.
Speakers
Craig Webb, Professor - Colorado State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital
