Anesthesia and Analgesia Considerations for Small Mammals

Small mammal species post unique challenges that are both size and individual species related. In recent years increasing amounts of information relative to anesthetic and analgesic drugs and techniques has become available and allows for improved care of these species.

• Gain insights to new information relative to drugs and management techniques in small mammal species (rabbits, rodents, ferrets...)
• Apply this information to management of these species and modify existing protocols if warranted
