Updates in Cognitive Dysfunction

The study of cognitive dysfunction syndrome (CDS) in dogs is a relatively new field and we are gaining information with the advent of each new study. Dogs have been used a model for studying people with loss of cognition specifically because the changes in the brain noted in necropsies on old dogs closely mimic those seen in autopsies of people.
