Jo Woodison is a registered veterinary technician working in northern California. She has worked primarily in emergency and critical care in multi-specialty hospitals. She has also been a product manager for a veterinary diagnostics provider. Having learned from her dogs that the best journeys are neither straight nor traveled at a constant speed, Jo has sped down trails and doubled back during her professional career. She is a firm believer that it's OK to change course. Jo believes in continual learning, sharing and trying to improve the care we provide to our patients and to each other. Jo has spoken at conferences, including VMX, NAVC, IVECCS and local symposiums. She has been published in the NAVTA Journal and is a contributing author to the Acid-Base and Electrolyte Handbook for Veterinary Technicians, published by Wiley in 2016.
