Director, Professional Resources Group, North America Regional Leader, Purina Institute
Dr. Emily Cross received her B.S from Haverford College in 1998 with honors. She then did extensive research at the Public Health Research Institute in NYC before attending veterinary school at Cornell University. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with honors in 2003 and then worked at a high volume general and referral practice. She joined Purina in 2005 as a Veterinary Communications Manager supporting the universities on the west coast. In December 2012 she achieved diplomate status with the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (canine/feline). She currently holds two roles in Purina. For the Professional Engagement Team, she serves as the Director of the Professional Resources Group, a team dedicated to veterinary technical support for Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets in the US. She also became the Purina Institute Regional Leader for North America in 2017. Outside work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, playing beach volleyball, and cuddling with her entitled (but gorgeous) Himalayan cat, Dewey.
