Dr. Bonifacio has worked for USDA APHIS Veterinary Services as a field Veterinary Medical Officer in California since 2007. He currently holds the position of Emergency Coordinator for California, Hawaii, and the Pacific Territories. He received his DVM (1996), Master of Preventive Veterinary Medicine (2006) and Certificate of Residency Completion in Herd Health and Reproduction (2007) from the University of California, Davis. He is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Preventive Medicine and a member of the US Army Reserve Veterinary Corps. Dr. Bonifacio also worked as a food-animal practitioner in the Central Valley of California for eight years.
