Once you are registered you will:

  • Receive a confirmation with your registration code and receipt.

How can I make changes to my registration?

You can edit your registration details any time by calling us at +1 646-437-9080 or emailing wildwestvet@closerstillmedia.com.

Please be aware that we send our badges by mail prior to the conference. You may edit your details until April 5 to receive your amended ticket by mail. Alternatively you can also amend your ticket on-site.

How much does it cost to attend?

What is included in my conference pass?

Your full conference pass provides you with unrestricted access to all content (except for limited enrollment sessions) at Wild West Vet including: 

  • CE verification
  • The full clinical CE program in Clinical Theaters 1, 2 ,3, 4 & 5
  • The full business and practice management program 
  • Networking reception on Monday 
  • Access to conference proceedings (available with VIN)

When will I receive my ticket?

Your badge(s) are being sent prior to the show via mail. The mailing commences late September. If you sign up after September 10, 2019  you can print your ticket onsite at the registration area using your registration code that you have been emailed previously.

Can I cancel my registration?

If you are not able to attend once you've registered, your pass is transferable to another member of your practice. Cancellation policy: Delegates may receive a 75% refund up until July 28, 2019. Before August 25, 2019, we refund 50% of the registration fee. After August 26, 2019, no refunds are being given. If you have questions, please contact us by calling us at +1 646-437-9080 or emailing wildwestvet@closerstillmedia.com.

Can I transfer my ticket to another person?

If you are not able to attend once you've registered, your pass is transferable to another member of your practice at any time. Please contact us by calling us at +1 646-437-9080 or emailing wildwestvet@closerstillmedia.com to transfer the ticket.

How can I pay for my registration fees?

At the moment we accept the registration via any VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Maestro and Solo. Please note that all fees need to be paid in full at the time of registration. Yes, we'd love to see you again! You may register at booth #238–the price is $299. This is the best price all year.

Don't worry! You may enter through the exhibitor entrance and can collect your badge from the registration area after 10 AM.

Where can I get my lead retrieval devices?

If you have paid for a lead retrieval/registration fee, this can be collected from the registration area from 2 PM on October 22nd.

Where can I find my badge?

Your badge can be collected on Tuesday, October 22nd from 2 PM until 6 PM in registration area. On Wednesday, October 23rd, you may pick up your badge between 7:15 AM - 8:00 AM.

I am an exhibitor. Where can I upgrade my badge?

You can upgrade your badge for $99 in the registration area. Exhibitor badges are NOT permitted in theaters.

I have booked an ultrasound wet lab. What do I need to know?

For the Beginner Ultrasound Lab, make sure to attend the mandatory pre-lab lecture on October 23, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM in Clinical Theater 3. For the Intermediate/Advanced Ultrasound Lab, make sure to attend the mandatory pre-lab lecture on October 24, 5:20 PM – 7:20 PM in Clinical Theater 3.

Both actual wet labs will be held offsite, at the Nevada Humane Society. A shuttle will be provided. The shuttle times are as follows:

All our attendee badges are encoded with your name, address, phone, organization, and e-mail address (if applicable). Exhibitors obtain this information only if they scan your badge on the show floor. If you do not wish to share your information, please do not have your badge scanned.

What transportation options are available?

The Grand Sierra Resort and Casino is proud to provide a complimentary shuttle for our hotel guests to and from the Reno-Tahoe International Airport. Shuttle service runs from 4:30 AM - 12:00 AM daily, with a shuttle arriving approximately every 30 minutes. The shuttle leaves the Reno-Tahoe airport every 20 minutes and 50 minutes after the hour. The Grand Sierra is located 2.5 miles and is an 8 minute drive from the airport.

Taxis and rideshare services (e.g. Lyft, Uber) are also widely available in Reno.

Will I be able to access and print notes for my sessions prior to the conference?

All session notes will be available online as proceedings at www.vin.com/wildwestvet/2019. As a registered attendee you will receive access prior to the conference.

Where can I find proceedings and when will they be available?

Proceedings will become available two weeks prior to the show at www.vin.com/wildwestvet/2019. You can also view and print these at the VIN Cyber Café, where high-speed internet access is provided.

Will presentations or recordings be available for purchase?

CE Accreditation

What sessions can I attend?

Most of our sessions aren't restricted and therefore available to everyone with a conference pass. Please be aware that this means seats aren't guaranteed. The exceptions are our 'limited enrollment sessions', which need to be booked and paid for ahead.

How many CE hours will I receive?

You can choose from more than 160 hours of world-class, RACE-approved CE and bring home up to 36 CE credits.

Is the conference RACE-approved?

Wild West Vet is indeed RACE-approved.

The American Association of Veterinary State Boards RACE committee has approved CloserStill Vet US LLC to continue to conduct continuing education programs.

How do I obtain my CE certificate?

Certificates will be available on-site at the CE Collection Point.. Certificates will also be emailed to you a few weeks after you have returned to practice and implemented your new skills and techniques. (Veterinary professionals licensed in Texas must pick up their certificates on-site.)

Complimentary WiFi will be available for light web browsing. We recommend downloading large files (like proceedings) prior to arriving.

Where are the restrooms?

There are restrooms throughout the hall. Please refer to the floor plan handout for exact locations.

Is lunch included in my conference pass?

Complimentary lunch and refreshments are available in the Exhibit Hall for all registered attendees. You will find coupons in your
Passport Book (located in your conference bag) to be redeemed for lunch and refreshments in the hall.

Lunch is available from 12:20 PM–1:30 PM on each day of the conference.

Water stations will also be available throughout the exhibition floor.

Are you providing childcare?

Unfortunately, day care is not available.

Are there any nursing rooms available at the conference?

Nursing rooms are located in Room 201. Please visit the Info Point in the Registration Area for further information. There are two mamava pods for nursing mothers - one located by the main entrance to Festival Hall, the other is located by Riva Restaurant. Both are marked up red in the floor plan below.

Where do I pick up my event materials?

Event materials can be collected from the Bag Collection Point in the registration area beginning at 7:15 am on Oct 23. Your conference bag contains the event guide (full program and exhibitor list), your voucher book (contains lunch vouchers, beverage vouchers, Grenada competitions, show offers), a notepad provided and pens —as well as a variety of other goodies from our sponsors and partners.

Where is the Speaker's Lounge/Press Office?

There is a speaker ready room to the right of the main registration area (Grand Salon).

Is complimentary tea and coffee offered?

Yes, you can–from any of the catering areas. Speakers and Press can get it from their catering room. Exhibitors may also get coffee.

When are the networking drinks?

Happy hour will be Wednesday, October 23 from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM in the Catering Area. Everyone is invited! You can find drink vouchers in your voucher book.
