Amber Goldman
Veterinary Sonographer,
Appalachian Veterinary Ultrasound
Amber's patient care experience was primarily spent in a specialty hospital in Atlanta, Georgia in the diagnostic imaging department where she performed CT's, thousands of radiographs and assisted with ultrasound under the direct supervision of a board certified radiologist. That experience instilled the importance of quality radiographs and the need for improved training on a clinic level. Amber has spent several years teaching safety and positioning in clinic and conference setting to improve patient care, hospital profits, and employee morale. Amber now lives in Boone, North Carolina where she is a mobile veterinary sonographer in the beautiful back drop of the Appalachian Mountains where she enjoys hiking, camping and lounging on her paddle board.
